Covid Update

On Wednesday, the Prime Minister announced that all Plan B measures are being removed in England, with a full return to Plan A by Thursday 27 January. In education and childcare settings this means the following:

• From Thursday 20 January, face coverings are no longer recommended in classrooms and teaching spaces for staff and pupils.
• From Thursday 27 January, face coverings are no longer recommended in communal areas for staff and pupils.

At Silverdale, we will continue to follow national and local advice, as well as continuing to monitor the number of cases in school.  Please continue to encourage your children to bring a face covering to school this week.

During the week 15^th- 21^st January 2022, 37 students tested positive for Covid.
