All this week we are gearing up for World Book Day on Thursday 7 March  with assemblies on the theme of Reading Is Power. To mark this World Book Day we are launching a one-month sponsored read to raise the money needed to rejoin the Sheffield Schools' Library Association. 

Staff, pupils, parents and carers will be encouraged to read as much as they can from 7 March until the 1 April and ask family and friends to sponsor them, perhaps per book or by amount of time spent reading. Speak to Mrs Senior in the Library or your English teacher for more information on how to take part – you might even win a prize!! 

The sponsorship packs are landing on Thursday so start planning your reading list for the Spring Holidays!
