Whirlwind Writer's Competition

Congratulations to our January winner
Thank you to all of the entrants for last month's Whirlwind Writer's Competition. We had more entries than we've ever had before, and Miss Shirtcliffe enjoyed reading every one!
The winner this month was Matthew Roberts, who wrote an excellent story in the spy genre. It had it all: a rendezvous in an abandoned warehouse, a villain in a creepy face mask, deception and deceit. Matthew wins a voucher for an online Escape Room to enjoy with his family.
Special mentions go to:
- Oneone Wirth: a wonderful piece utilising the many worlds theory but over the word limit!
- Cadence Arden Armitage: a beautiful and tender reflection on self-worth
- Sophie Lambert: a crime story about betrayal
Look out for details of the next competition, its theme and prize!
