We have just returned to civilization after surviving our trek in the jungle. We flew in a 3 twin otter planes to Bario in the heart of the Borneo jungle which for some was an interesting experience. We had fantastic guides who led us on a 5 day loop through jungle and remote villages. We stayed in very basic jungle camps in hammocks which were surprisingly comfy and spent the evening cooking on open fires and singing by candlelight. The students enjoyed the experience but not the leeches and sweat bees! Today is a day of washing and cleaning before we leave for Kuala Lumpur tomorrow morning. All of the team are well and working well together
